“I was recommended Jason and Pearl from Strong Rock Photography by a friend and my goodness me, they didn't dissappoint.

They have gone above and beyond the realms of being just a wedding photographer/video maker. On our day itself they were extremely friendly and put us and our guests at ease, they blended in and just did what they do best without anyone really noticing that they were there. The resulting videos and photographers are absolutely beautiful, excellent quality and captured the magic moments of our day perfectly.

I am deaf and have subsequently asked if its possible for my videos to be subtitled. I know this is a very big ask and requires alot of work but Jason and Pearl said yes straight away. Subtitles are a game changer for me and to have them on my wedding video, being able to read what people are saying, means the world to me. Another thing I struggle with is technology and I really had no idea how to get the links sent to me with the photos and videos onto my laptop which would enable me to do so much more with them than as they were on my phone. I was really flustered about this as I really wanted to be able to look at pictures of my big day on a big screen and eventually get them into an album. Today, Jason has spent most of his afternoon transferring everything onto my laptop for me. I had no clue whatsoever so he patiently went through, step by step, telling me how to share my laptop with him. Once I did this he did everything for me and there at the end of it by some miracle the link was on my laptop so I can now see everything on a bigger screen and even better, I can now get everything onto a USB stick so I can watch it on my TV. Honestly I would never have been able to do this without Jason's patient help today. If you are thinking about having these people capture images of your special day 💯 do it.

You will not be disappointed.”

“An absolutely brilliant and personable duo to capture my engagement with special photos and a video.
For an occasion like a proposal, having a photographer will mean they inevitably play a big part of the day. Jason and Pearl did that so well, putting the cherry on top of the cake on the day with their warm service. Made us laugh, gave us great suggestions for pictures and ensured we were able to enjoy the moment with each other.
As more practical points for the review, Jason was responsive throughout and answered all questions quickly. He took my requests on board completely, whilst adding complementary suggestions to help meet my vision for the day. They were flexible right up until the proposal time with frequent changes to plans/times. Finally, they helped us choose perfect areas around Cardiff with their local experience. They also provided a quick turnaround after the day meaning we received the pics/video soon after.

They were even extremely accommodating with a schedule mix-up which was entirely my fault, but they handled it like absolute pros! We are both not camera people and didnt want loads of posing photos but rather more candid photos. They were understanding with having a crazy amount of different family groups and were absolutely amazing with the dogs too! They listened to what photos we wanted and helped us get them! They were both simply amazing from communication before our wedding, during and even after!

We did not want a pushy photographer who would have pushed us from pillar to post for posed photos, the photos which Jason and Pearl both took were natural and simply breathtaking. They were not pushy at all and weren't intrusive.

We are both over the moon with both all of the photos (which we received two albums of- one colour, one black and white) and the video of the day!

Photos were simply amazing and the videos were perfect- including the sound tracks overlaid.

If you're looking for a photographer/videographer then look no further- We honestly can not thank or recommend this lovely pair enough!”

Mainly though, I cannot stress how perfectly they fitted in with our family and guests. It was like having our friends there in the sense that they blended in amazingly and did everything at our pace as to not rush us. He has a natural "lover arquetype" that connected really well with children and with everybody. He also sent the final pictures and videos within a very reasonable timeframe. I am very grateful to have found Jason 2 days before my wedding because another photographer was unsure whether he could come to do the job after he had promised he would and Jason was there for me, for us, ready to go the extra mile and sometimes, things that look like stones in the way are actually "dressed-up blessings" ;-) I'm definitely hiring Jason for our pictures for our business!
